Job summary

Trystar is seeking an Assistant Supervisor - Fabrication at its Faribault, MN facility. You will lead the fabrication team, coordinate daily activities, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and drive lean improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma, at least 2 years in manufacturing, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Leadership experience and proficiency with Epicor or similar ERP systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the fabrication team to meet targets and quality standards.
• Coordinate daily activities to maintain workflow, quality production, and on-time delivery.
• Monitor components and assemblies for quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate production data records in the ERP system and report issues.
• Coach and develop team members to enhance fabrication skills and performance.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and coordinate with maintenance for repairs.
• Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings.
• Drive process improvements and standardized work for efficiency and waste reduction.
• Maintain daily production and machine usage records; support leadership reporting.
• Manage internal inventory of materials, tools, and equipment.
