Job summary

Eagle Flexible Packaging in Batavia, IL, is seeking a Production Support Supervisor to lead the production support team in a fast-paced packaging facility. The role focuses on supervising packing, utilities, warehouse, and shipping while remaining hands-on when needed.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will schedule daily work, manage performance, and drive safety and quality across shifts, adhering to SQF, GMP, and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior supervisory or lead experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to supervise, assign work, and evaluate performance.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel; ERP experience preferred.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of production support staff and monitor performance.
• Coordinate coverage across shifts and adjust schedules as needed.
• Review production schedules and ensure materials are staged per requirements.
• Plan daily work schedules and manage PTO/Vacation.
• Enforce safety, quality, and SQF compliance.
• Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
