Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Manufacturing Leader for our Sturgis, MI site in the Nutrition division. The role oversees multi-shift operations, mentors Front Line leaders, and drives performance against budget, quality, and regulatory standards.

You will champion cost management, track KPIs, and implement continuous improvements with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, compliant production and development of nutrition products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 5+ years in manufacturing leadership.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proven coaching and cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Demonstrated change-management and budgeting capabilities.
• Experience supervising production supervisors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-shift manufacturing operations and mentor Front Line leaders.
• Ensure line performance alignment with overall department results.
• Promote high-quality products while complying with Abbott policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead cost management engagement, establish KPIs, and manage budgets up to $12M.
• Drive OEE, labor, downtime, and material usage improvements across shifts.
• Manage staffing, training, coaching, and performance development.
• Lead change initiatives and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
