Job summary

Stellant Systems, Inc. in Torrance, CA, seeks a Sr Production Supervisor to lead a skilled manufacturing group responsible for high-quality assembly and test of precision RF/electronic components for satellite applications.

You will manage hourly staff, drive Lean improvements, coordinate with Engineering and QA, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining safety and high performance. This role requires strong leadership and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of manufacturing exp or 6+ years in manufacturing.
• Experience in manufacturing and testing of precision RF/electronic products is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train hourly employees; manage shop floor operations.
• Implement Lean process improvements and monitor performance metrics.
• Provide accurate production status updates to management, engineering, and QA.
• Ensure on-time completion and adherence to specifications; maintain safety.
• Mentor and supervise employees; optimize production flow and reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support transition of products from development to full-rate production.
