Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years working in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years’ experience in supervisory capacity.
• Excellent leadership and team skills; able to interface at all levels.
• Knowledge of processes and machines related to products manufactured within the unit.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned employees and ensure compliance with quality standards, customer specifications, and company policies.
• Understand and manage production schedules to meet customer timelines.
• Conduct personnel functions: interviewing, selection, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions; focus on PTO and employee development.
• Oversee all processes, equipment, employees, safety and housekeeping.
• Maintain knowledge of all processes and equipment or know who to contact for information.
• Troubleshoot problems with jobs/equipment and coordinate with other departments for resolution.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Coordinate production with other shifts for a smooth transition.
