Job summary

VF Corp. is seeking a Production Specialist to monitor end-to-end production activities across a portfolio of VF factories, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.

The role includes mentoring junior specialists and acting as a liaison with factory management. The position requires frequent travel to factory sites and a strong background in production operations, with emphasis on risk assessment, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in production operations or technical roles.
• Experience with overseas factories and multi-cultural teams is preferred.
• Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Production Specialists and factory personnel.
• Contribute to Risk Assessment and Pre-Production meetings.
• Support QM in adhering to SOPs and product specs during mass production.
• Ensure KPIs are met or exceeded; collaborate with planning to achieve OTP targets.
• Make real-time production decisions including line balancing and automation recommendations.
• Supervise start-up for high-risk styles with QM to ensure quality and aesthetics.
• Resolve daily production issues in collaboration with VF functions and factories.
• Support Responsible Sourcing Ops in social/environmental compliance programs.
• Provide on-ground support for automation adoption and process changes.
• Prepare production reports and insights for management.
• Use data analytics to improve factory performance and efficiency.
• Participate in root cause analysis and CAP reviews for quality claims.
