Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in production control, production scheduling, or operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with production planning tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and make timely decisions in a dynamic production setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage detailed manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows to ensure sequence and lead times align with customer orders and sales forecasts.
• Monitor production operations in real time and expedite activities that are causing schedule delays; adjust and communicate schedule changes to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Analyze plant capacity, production requisition data, and resource availability to determine optimal manufacturing processes and identify bottlenecks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure production plans are achievable.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute accurate production reports, performance metrics, and status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Provide estimating support for production timelines, resource requirements, and capacity planning initiatives.
• Support daily production meetings and tier reviews; drive rapid resolution of schedule risks and material shortages.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within production control processes and implement best practices to enhance scheduling efficiency.
