Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Senior Production Scheduler for its Normal, Illinois manufacturing site. You will own near-term Body & Paint production planning, translating downstream requirements into executable daily and weekly build plans.

You will lead recovery actions, coordinate with Production Operations, Material Planning, Logistics, and Engineering Change Management, and protect throughput on the shop floor. The role requires regular presence on the production floor, strong cross-functional

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in operations, supply chain, engineering, or related field; 5+ years in scheduling in high-volume manufacturing.
Experience using SAP in a production-planning or scheduling environment.
Working knowledge of MES and ERP-to-shop-floor interfaces.
Strong communication skills in writing and in cross-functional forums.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

Own the detailed Body & Paint schedule across daily, shift, and weekly horizons.
Develop executable build plans based on WIP, capacity, and program priorities.
Translate master plan into executable shop schedules with sequence guidance.
Maintain live schedule and drive recovery plans with cross-functional teams.
Align SAP order dates and releases with the schedule across SAP and MES/MARS.
Maintain master data discipline for orders, BOMs, routings, and execution statuses.
