ManpowerGroup is seeking a Senior Operational Buyer for a manufacturing client in San Jose, CA. You will own end-to-end procurement to support production readiness, cost objectives, and quality requirements, coordinating with planning, manufacturing, logistics, and finance to resolve issues swiftly.

You will review MRP signals, manage POs, track shortages, and drive recovery actions to minimize production impact while leveraging Oracle ERP and analytics tools for data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years in purchasing, procurement operations, materials planning, or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of procure-to-pay, MRP, PO management, supplier coordination, and inventory control.
• Ability to read BOMs, understand part revisions, and interpret demand and supply data.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
• Experience with Oracle ERP, Agile PLM, analytics tools, and dashboards preferred.

Responsabilités

• Procure assigned materials, components, equipment, and services to support production schedules, inventory targets, and quality requirements.
• Review Oracle MRP signals and manage purchase orders, releases, pull-ins, pushouts, cancellations, and expediting.
• Maintain PO dates, quantities, acknowledgements, and supplier commitments for planning visibility.
• Track shortages, late deliveries, and excess inventory; communicate risks early and drive recovery actions.
• Collaborate with planning, manufacturing, logistics, quality, finance, receiving, commodity management, and suppliers to resolve issues.
