MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group is seeking a senior Production Planning Manager to oversee materials planning and scheduling for a Boonton, New Jersey manufacturing operation. Lead cross-functional teams in inventory control, capacity planning and ERP/MRP execution to align demand with supply.

The role requires 5+ years of planning experience in manufacturing, with advanced Excel skills and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

5+ years in production planning in a manufacturing environment.
ERP/MRP experience supporting planning and inventory management.
Experience with production scheduling and capacity planning against demand and material availability.
Inventory management across raw materials, WIP and finished goods, including cycle counting.
Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, reporting) and strong analytical skills.
At least one certification such as APICS CPIM, CSCP or CLTD.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and execute production plans and schedules to meet customer requirements and manufacturing objectives.
Forecast production and material requirements based on demand, history, inventory levels and capacity.
Plan and control raw materials, WIP and finished goods inventory against targets.
Coordinate cycle counts and physical inventories, analyze discrepancies and drive corrective actions.
Maintain planning parameters, bills of materials, routings and manufacturing orders in the ERP/MRP system.
Lead planning meetings across multiple plants and locations; drive continuous improvement and KPI reporting.
