Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando, FL is seeking a Production Coordinator to join the RMS TLS team. You will drive Make, Buy and BOM planning, optimize material flow, and ensure production schedules align with customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ERP tools such as SAP.
• Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) and data visualization tools.
• Ability to extract and understand graphs or data from Tableau.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Manufacturing experience (operations, quality, supply chain).
• General understanding of engineering drawings and controls.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Make, Buy and / or BOM planning activities associated with MRP transactions.
• Performs multiple manufacturing activities; maintains production systems integrity to optimize inventory and reduce cost.
• Expedites and optimizes material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinates with manufacturing and Operations Management to control schedule and capacity; communicates status and expedites as needed.
• Coordinates with Procurement and Operations Management to plan for procured parts and ensure deliveries meet schedule requirements.
• Maintains MRP parameters including lead times and lot sizes; coordinates BOM changes with Engineering and Change Board Rep.
• Identify and mitigate production risks and communicate plans to Operations Management and stakeholders.
