Job summary

Deepsea-Technologies in Houston is seeking a Production Planner / Process Engineer to support project execution, manufacturing operations, service jobs, and standard/off-the-shelf product requirements in an engineered-to-order environment.

The role coordinates production planning, material requirements, work orders, BOMs, routings, ERP/GSS activities, service orders, inventory, and cross-functional communication between Engineering, Project Management, Purchasing, Production, Quality, Inventory,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
• 5–10+ years of experience in production planning, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, supply chain, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; GSS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans and schedules based on project requirements, customer delivery dates, and available resources.
• Create and maintain Work Orders, sequences, labor requirements, and production activities in the ERP/GSS system.
• Monitor project and manufacturing progress and identify schedule, material, and production risks.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Project Management to resolve issues and maintain project schedules.
• Support projects from engineering release through manufacturing and final delivery.
• Plan and coordinate service, repair, modification, refurbishment, and field-support jobs.
