Job summary

Standard Nuclear, Inc. is seeking a Senior Production Planner in Oak Ridge, TN to develop production schedules across multiple facilities.

You will translate project demand, engineering inputs, and material availability into executable plans, working with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to refine capacity and throughput assumptions. You will build capacity models, improve planning disciplines, and help standardize planning practices as operations scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 5-8 years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, or related areas.
• Experience developing production schedules in manufacturing, industrial, technical, or regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of production flow, capacity planning, bottleneck analysis, lead times, and material readiness.
• Experience with ERP/MRP, scheduling, or production planning systems; strong Excel and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on project demand, readiness, capacity, and material availability.
• Translate priorities into executable production plans and build weekly/longer-range schedules.
• Monitor schedule performance and adjust plans as priorities or constraints change.
• Communicate schedule changes, risks, and tradeoffs to leadership and teams.
• Evaluate capacity across facilities, identify bottlenecks, and develop practical capacity assumptions.
