Job summary

Ghirardelli is seeking a Sr. Production Planner to manage master planning and detailed scheduling for a portion of the product portfolio. You’ll drive monthly production plans, ensure material availability, and optimize bottlenecks across the manufacturing network, leveraging SAP-based tools.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration with procurement, supply chain, operations, sales, and finance, and emphasizes data-driven decision making and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or operations preferred.
• Experience with tool-based supply planning and SAP IBP-S4-PPDS is a big plus.
• APICS certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and scheduling of seasonal and new product launches.
• Maintain weekly detailed production schedules for assigned lines and products.
• Manage planning parameters in SAP IBP and PPDS.
• Develop longer‑term Master plan (12 months) and supply scenarios.
• Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, operations, sales and finance.
• Lead RCCP, S&OE discussions, and capacity/bottleneck analyses.
• Coordinate with multiple sites and Lindt subsidiaries as needed.
• Monitor WIP and inventory, adjust plans for aging goods.
