Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Malabar, FL is seeking a Senior Associate, Production Planning to plan, schedule and monitor products through the production cycle. You will collaborate with manufacturing engineering, material management and quality to ensure the master schedule is met.

Responsibilities include releasing work orders, tracking schedule adherence, expediting items, controlling floor stock, and guiding resolution of production issues. Security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years related experience, or graduate degree with 0–2 years.
• Alternatively, 6+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Develops, manages and optimizes internal master schedule for assigned programs with Manufacturing Engineering and Material Management.
• Releases work orders to production floor based on schedule, materials, and capacity; manages complex scenarios.
• Monitors conformance to master schedule via ERP; expedites items as needed.
• Oversees efficiency, inventory accuracy, on-time delivery; reports variances and corrective actions.
• Manages floor stock; recommends inventory optimization strategies.
• Advises on work in progress, material availability, and production problems; leads resolution.
• Coordinates scheduling of shared equipment and personnel with process owners.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years related experience

Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0-2 years related experience

In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years related experience
