Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years in production planning or supply chain planning.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems and capacity planning.
• Strong Excel data analysis and reporting skills.
• APICS/ASCM CPIM/CSCP/CLTD preferred.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute production schedules balancing demand, capacity, and materials.
• Create detailed weekly and daily production plans for value streams.
• Monitor schedule attainment and recovery actions to protect delivery commitments.
• Prioritize and sequence orders to optimize flow and on-time delivery.
• Verify material availability and flag shortages or constraints.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, Customer Service to resolve issues.
• Manage MRP planning messages and reflect current business priorities.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels including safety stock and WIP.
• Analyze forecast changes and capacity to adjust schedules.
• Support new product introductions and engineering changes in planning.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and work order integrity.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Represent Planning on cross-functional Value Stream Teams.
