Job summary

Colts-Manufacturing-Company-LLC is seeking a Senior Production Planner to convert customer demand into actionable manufacturing schedules. You will balance material availability, equipment capacity, labor, and lead times to keep orders moving and adjust plans as priorities shift.

You’ll work with Production, Procurement, Inventory, and Engineering to prevent shortages and resolve bottlenecks. The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing planning, ERP/MRP proficiency (SAP, Epicor), and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum 3 years in purchasing, procurement or materials planning in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Epicor) and ability to navigate BOMs and lead times.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity.
• Review material requirements and coordinate with Procurement and suppliers to prevent shortages and manage lead times.
• Monitor production progress, identify schedule risks, and coordinate recovery plans when changes occur.
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering to resolve bottlenecks and support new product introductions.
