Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (or equivalent)
• Experience in an industrial operations environment preferred
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, or procedure manuals

Responsibilities

• Sets up, starts and runs all machinery
• Weighs ingredients to meet recipe specifications and inserts into machinery
• Monitors production and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation; troubleshoots issues
• Operates machinery to mix, extrude/discharge or handle materials
• Takes samples for lab evaluation and adjusts batches as needed
• Performs all required machine cleaning; documents work and data reports
