Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Production Operator III for 2nd shift (3PM–3AM). You will operate automated production equipment, diagnose machinery issues, support preventative maintenance, and sanitize equipment to uphold product quality and safety.

You will also work as part of a team, use Enterprise software for data input and reporting, and follow GMPs. The role requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and maintain a safe, efficient production flow.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience.
• High School diploma or equivalency plus a technical certification (HVAC or auto maintenance).
• Military training or 45 college credits may substitute for technical training.
• AIB 'Science of Baking' course may be included.

Responsibilities

• Check and adhere to production work schedule for job assignments and reporting times.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area while on duty.
• Operate facility metal detectors; be fully trained and certified.
• Comply with safety rules, GMPs and company policies.
• Complete required documentation and system entries accurately and on time.
