Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator III for the 3PM–3AM shift in San Antonio, TX to operate automated production equipment, diagnose failures, aid preventive maintenance and sanitize equipment.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, data entry into enterprise systems, and maintaining product quality. Requires 2+ years’ manufacturing experience and a HS diploma or equivalent; benefits include health, 401(k), paid leave.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent; technical certification (HVAC, auto maintenance) may be substituted.
• Equivalent military training or 45 college credits may substitute for technical training.

Responsibilities

• Check and adhere to production work schedule for job assignments and times.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area while on duty.
• Operate multiple production equipment; must be trained and certified on metal detectors if assigned.
• Comply with safety, GMPs, and company policies (EEO, Harassment, Safety, SOX).
• Set up equipment and maintain proper performance and production speeds.
• Verify product quality and ensure only compliant product moves forward.
