Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Production Operations professional for our San Diego Rancho Carmel site. You will lead production efforts, manage schedules and budgets, and interface with technical leadership, program management, engineering, production control, global supply chain, and production supervisors to ensure hardware modules are built on time and within cost.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related experience (or 8 years without) and strong experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in project management, supply chain, engineering, operations or business.
• Advanced MS Office skills including PowerPoint, Word, Excel (Pivot Tables).
• MRP experience: gathering, manipulating, and interpreting data from SAP, PDM, and MES systems.
• Experience managing Integrated Master Schedules and hardware status; reading BOM structures and PLM tools.
• Experience with project leadership and/or process improvement; ability to obtain and maintain security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee root cause and corrective actions to closure; ensure project and budget status is up to date.
• Review project status and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Interface with technical leadership, program management, engineering, production control, global supply chain, and production supervisors to ensure hardware modules are built on time and within cost.
