Job summary

Corsicana Mattress Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain complex production and facility equipment, with a strong emphasis on safety and productive maintenance practices.

You will perform preventative maintenance, read schematics and blueprints, diagnose issues, provide emergency repairs, and install equipment while supporting projects to improve safety and capacity.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in similar role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, interpret and understand diagrams and blueprints.
• Proficiency in English highly preferred; bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, completes, and documents Preventative Maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Perform complex machinist duties to diagnose problematic situations.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses complex repairs, replaces or repairs parts and tests and adjusts as needed.
• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Install and maintain production machines and equipment.
• Completes enhancement projects or change outs for production safety, capability or capacity.
• Detects faulty operation and reports to proper management.
• Coordinates special projects as directed by Plant Manager.
• Meet standards for completion of all assignments.
• Address problems to ensure quality control per instructions; reports defective materials.
