Job summary

Apogee Architectural Metals, a segment of Apogee Enterprises, is seeking an experienced Production Maintenance Technician II to keep our manufacturing equipment operating safely, reliably, and efficiently. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex production equipment, and assist with equipment modifications and relocations.

In this role, you will mentor less-experienced technicians, read technical manuals, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of maintenance mechanic experience, preferably journeyman level.
• Strong experience troubleshooting complex manufacturing equipment.
• Hands-on experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with fabrication equipment and methods, including saws, lathes, mills, and welders.

Responsibilities

• Put safety first by following procedures (lockout/tagout, confined space, fall protection).
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to improve reliability and performance.
• Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, schematics, and equipment documentation.
• Mentor Maintenance Technician I employees and help develop trade skills.
