Job summary

Apogee Architectural Metals, a leading manufacturer in Wisconsin, is seeking a Production Maintenance Technician II to uphold and enhance complex production equipment performance.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, and mentor junior technicians while ensuring safe, efficient operations on our factory floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance.
• 10+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic, journeyman preferred.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Experience with fabrication equipment (saws, lathes, mills, welders).
• Troubleshooting complex manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout and fall protection.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex production equipment.
• Log repairs and maintenance in the designated system.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff and operators to resolve issues.
• Mentor Maintenance Technician I and develop trade skills.
