Job summary

Swiss American CDMO in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Production Machine Operator to support cGMP manufacturing. You will start, monitor, and adjust packaging lines, inspect finished goods, and assist with labeling, palletizing, and line clearance.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years on production lines in a cGMP setting, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Good English, math, and trouble-shooting skills are essential; OT may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Production Machine Operator in a cGMP environment.
• At least 4 years of total experience in production or packaging within a cGMP environment.
• Technical or mechanical aptitude is essential.
• Experience operating at least five different production or packaging machines, including Simplex.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Start machine and observe operation to detect malfunctions.
• Stops machine and reports malfunction to supervisor.
• Makes minor adjustments or repairs such as opening valves, changing dies, setting guides, or clearing damaged product containers.
• Inspects filled containers to ensure packaging per specifications.
• Feeds product to conveyors or hoppers and unloads packaged product.
• Counts supplies on spindles or in hopper.
• Assists with labeling, palletizing, and line clearance.
• Palletizes finished goods and moves pallets to QC lane.
• Performs OT as required and supports QC on lot numbers.
