Job summary

Kubota Manufacturing of America Corp is seeking a Senior Production Manager to lead 1–3 factories, directing a team of Production Managers and a large workforce. You will align labor, equipment, and materials to meet output targets while upholding safety, quality, and cost objectives across multiple shifts.

You will drive continuous improvement with Kaizen and Lean initiatives, collaborate with engineering and HR, and manage budgets to ensure operational excellence in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations.
• 5+ years in management or multi-site leadership.
• Experience managing 300+ employees.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control and safety.
• Ability to drive cultural and operational improvements.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Leadership, communication and interpersonal excellence.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple issues concurrently.
• Proficiency with manufacturing software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Owns daily, weekly, and monthly production execution across 1–3 factories, meeting targets.
• Directly leads and develops Production Managers and standardizes leadership practices.
• Aligns labor, equipment, and materials to rapidly adjust to demand.
• Ensures daily compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Reinforces PPE, standard work and risk mitigation across weld, paint, and assembly.
• Monitors KPIs related to throughput, labor efficiency, scrap, downtime, and delivery.
• Leads Kaizen, Lean, and 5-Gen manufacturing initiatives with measurable results.
• Manages staffing levels and performance across shifts; coaching leaders.
• Partners daily with engineering, maintenance, supply chain, logistics, and HR.
• Prepares and manages budgets for assigned production areas; controls costs.
• Supports capital planning and resource justification as needed.
