Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 5+ years in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience designing or optimizing production line layouts and material flow.
• Hands-on experience installing, testing, and troubleshooting production equipment.
• Experience with powder/slurry conveyance and material handling systems.
• Working knowledge of industrial safety and ergonomic design principles.
• Strong project management coordinating multi‑vendor installs.

Responsibilities

• Design the integration of production tools for a high-throughput electrode materials line.
• Optimize layout, material flow, and technician movement for safety and efficiency.
• Model line capacity and OEE to size buffers and validate throughput targets.
• Define quality checkpoints to catch defects early and enable fast containment.
• Collaborate with vendors on tool configuration and with EHS on safety reviews.
• Own tool readiness from installation through ramp-up and on-schedule delivery.
• Lead troubleshooting and repairs to improve reliability.
• Maintain preventive maintenance plans and spare parts strategy.
• Own SOPs and work instructions and keep them updated.
