Job summary

Medline Industries, LP seeks an experienced engineer to oversee planning and productivity projects from concept through production. You will investigate current practices, implement changes to boost productivity, and modify designs with testing procedures.

The role includes budgeting, training, and cross-location collaboration. Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, a Bachelor's in Engineering, ERP and MS Office proficiency, and a proven ability to drive process improvements are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• At least 5 years of engineering experience with technical writing or experimental design.
• Experience with process improvement and optimization.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and data-driven decision making.
• Ability to lead teams and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize operating procedures and troubleshoot issues to minimize disruption.
• Drive process improvements and assess feasibility, cost, and demand for new products.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with management to implement productivity enhancements.
• Manage project budgets, estimates and milestones; analyze costs and savings.
• Provide training on engineering concepts and tools (e.g., statistics, DMAIC, six sigma).
• Forecast costs and contribute to budget requests; ensure policy compliance.
