Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Unix/Linux and networking fundamentals.
• 10+ years coding in Java, Python, C++, PHP/Hack, Rust, or Go.
• Experience learning software, frameworks and APIs.
• Experience with Internet service architecture capacity planning.
• Knowledge of web technologies and internet service architectures (LAMP/MEAN).
• Experience configuring infrastructure apps such as Kubernetes, Terraform, MySQL.

Responsibilities

• Own back-end services which handle fleet management and core services.
• Lead your engineering team by example and mentor others.
• Write and review code, productionize it, and develop docs and capacity plans.
• Share on-call rotations and act as escalation contact for incidents.
• Collaborate with top engineers on production code and systems used globally.
• Analyze and optimize code for quality, scalability, efficiency and performance.
