Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Unix/Linux and network fundamentals.

• Experience with internet service architecture capacity planning.
• Knowledge of web technologies and architectures (LAMP/MEAN, CDN, load balancing).
• Experience configuring infrastructure level apps (Kubernetes, Terraform, MySQL).
• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own back-end services including fleet management and critical infrastructure.
• Write, review, and productionize code; develop docs and capacity plans.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident escalation.
• Collaborate with engineers to deploy code used by billions.
• Establish ownership and end-to-end understanding of systems.
• Analyze and optimize code for quality, scalability and performance.
