Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in petroleum engineering.
• Experience with unconventional assets.
• Willingness to travel.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment; meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assess costs and estimate production capabilities and economic value of wells to evaluate drilling sites.
• Monitor production trends and design workover/intervention programs to maximize oil recovery.
• Determine reservoir performance for different recovery techniques using decline curve and other models.
• Review and write technical reports for engineering and management personnel.
• Research, design, and implement secondary/tertiary projects including production forecasts and economic analysis.
• Provide leadership in artificial lift systems, monitoring, and optimization activities.
• Mentor engineers and field technicians to optimize production activities.
• Update best practices and apply continuous process improvement.
