Job summary

Fervo Energy is seeking a senior Production Engineer to own the daily performance heartbeat of our well and production system at Cape Station. Reporting to the Production Engineering Manager, you will drive surveillance, ESP operation, and short-term forecasting in a first-of-kind geothermal setting.

This role demands deep experience with production data platforms, KPI tracking, and cross-functional collaboration with Field Operations, Plant Management, and Digital Platform teams to build

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering or related discipline.
• 7–12 years of production engineering or operations experience in live environments.
• ESP operating experience, monitoring and analysis of ESP systems.
• Experience building production forecasting workflows and downtime tracking.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven approach.
• Proficiency with production data platforms and visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Own production surveillance, daily operations, and ESP management across wells.
• Develop KPI definitions, monitor performance, and analyze downtime events.
• Lead 90-day production and injection forecasts with trend analysis.
• Maintain surveillance procedures and collaborate with Field Ops and Plant Mgmt.
• Support platform requirements and dashboards for real-time monitoring.
• Ensure regulatory reporting accuracy and cross-functional communication.
