Job summary

As a senior technical contributor, you will set standards, drive delivery across Finance and Operations, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams in a global follow-the-sun model.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in financial technology within hedge funds or banks.
• Experience owning a significant technical domain, platform, or cross-team initiative.
• Strong knowledge of trade operations, accounting, portfolio management, reference data, or treasury.
• Troubleshooting across applications, databases, infrastructure, integrations, and workflows.
• Experience with .NET, Python, SQL Server, and enterprise messaging.
• Experience with scheduling tools like ActiveBatch or Airflow.
• Linux and Windows administration knowledge.
• Experience in reconciliations, exception handling, and controls.
• Experience with Agile and ITIL environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and health of a major Finance/Operations domain.
• Lead investigation and resolution of complex production issues across components.
• Support trade capture, position management, P&L delivery, and accounting workflows.
• Lead cross-functional delivery from requirements through production readiness.
• Set standards for readiness, monitoring, and incident response.
• Improve observability using OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Splunk, and related tools.
• Manage integrations including APIs, queues, FIX, and file transfers.
• Coordinate global follow-the-sun support and weekend escalations.
