Job summary

Leidos in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Production Control Scheduler III to lead and manage production control across multiple programs, aligning materials, schedules, and work orders to meet complex program requirements.

The role requires strong experience with ERP/MRP/MES systems (Deltek Costpoint, Dynafact DMS, Solumina) and a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior staff, and drive continuous improvement while complying with AS9100 and government regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field plus 4+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Experience with ERP systems including MRP, MPS and MES (Deltek Costpoint, Solumina, Dynafact DMS or similar).
• Ability to communicate effectively within a team and work autonomously under pressure.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Project.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Must reside in or relocate to Huntsville/North Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Create and distribute production schedules using Dynafact DMS Scheduler and/or MS Projects.
• Coordinate activities across cross-functional teams (Production, Planning, Engineering, Quality, Product Management).
• Lead meetings and analyses to ensure schedules and contractual obligations are met.
• Incorporate schedule changes from ECOs, Make/Buy decisions, and revisions.
• Monitor Production Capacity, critical path shortages, and Due/Need dates.
• Develop and maintain Line of Balance charts and milestone tracking.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for planning processes and KPIs.
