Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Production Control Scheduler III in North Alabama to lead and manage production control operations at the Final Integration Facility. The role focuses on aligning materials, schedules, and work orders to meet complex program requirements while mentoring junior staff.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience, strong ERP skills, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Huntsville area residents are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Demonstrable experience across ERP systems including MRP, MPS and MES.
• Ability to communicate effectively within a team environment.
• Capable of working autonomously in a high-stress, fast-paced setting.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Project.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
• Resident of or willing to relocate to Huntsville, AL area.

Responsibilities

• Create and distribute production schedules using Dynafact DMS Scheduler and/or MS Projects.
• Coordinate activities across Production, Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Product Management.
• Lead meetings to ensure Production Schedules and contractual obligations are met.
• Incorporate ECOs, Make/Buy decisions, and Revision changes into schedules.
• Monitor Production Capacity, critical path shortages, and Due Date performance.
• Develop and maintain Line of Balance (LOB) charts and milestone tracking.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for planning KPIs and reporting tools.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 and government regulations.
