Job summary

AV is seeking a Production Control Clerk III to manage clerical tasks in production control, coordinating work orders and materials between Production and Flight Team. The role involves expediting shortages and maintaining an efficient rework flow.

You will interact with Purchasing, Quality, and Production Planners to keep schedules on track, ensuring timely issuance of materials and clear communication of part shortages.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years in a production environment or equivalent.
• Experience with MRP systems and the generation and maintenance of work orders.
• Knowledge of computerized MRP systems is critical.
• Experience with inventory control methods and production control techniques.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to input and maintain demand in a computerized MRP system.
• Understanding of Bills of Materials structures.

Responsibilities

• Executes material repair orders to move product from SMRB to repair cell.
• Coordinate and address shortages by working with Purchasing, Quality and Production Planners.
• Update and prioritize the rework board with production planners.
• Monitor and expedite shortage parts in inspection status through quality, stockroom, to work orders.
• Help move urgent product between cells or through the stockroom with production leads.
• Issue items in a timely manner to sell-off area work orders.
• Notify planners of rejected or shortage parts and rejected production builds.
• Work with Quality to prevent long SMRB holds for shortage parts.
