Collins Aerospace in Santa Fe Springs, CA is seeking a Sr. Supervisor, Production Control to lead a team enabling Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations. You will drive material availability, customer communication, allocations, and vendor coordination to ensure on‑time delivery and high customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes data‑driven leadership, continuous improvement, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams. It is an onsite position with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
• Experience applying analytical and problem‑solving techniques to translate data into actionable insights and measurable results.
• Experience driving process improvement and automation using tools such as Advanced Excel, VBA, Power BI, Power Automate, SQL, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency with SAP or comparable ERP/MRP systems for inventory, order, and material management.
• Prior people leadership experience and customer‑facing communication support.

Responsibilities

• Leads, coaches, and develops a team of Operations Support Associates with clear roles and performance expectations.
• Ensures material readiness and availability to support production schedules and minimize downtime.
• Acts as key customer liaison, communicating unit availability and order status to drive satisfaction.
• Manages customer allocations and shipping manifests to ensure on‑time delivery and contract compliance.
• Collaborates with Demand Planning and Production to communicate component requirements and mitigate shortages.
• Manages external repair vendor relationships and escalation to prevent delivery impacts.
• Owns the cycle count program to maintain inventory accuracy and drive corrective actions.
• Oversees CF/Collins furnished inventory for traceability and accountability.
• Develops KPIs, dashboards, and reports for inventory health, delivery, and vendor performance.
• Identifies opportunities to streamline manual processes using digital tools and data analytics.
• Leads CI initiatives using Lean methodologies and standard work.
