Job summary

UnitedMasters, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Affairs Manager to join Translation, our award-winning creative solutions team. The role focuses on risk assessment, contract management, and clearances across production, animation, and talent for non-union and SAG-AFTRA projects.

You will work closely with legal, finance, and clients, tracking costs and ensuring timely payments while maintaining strong partner relationships. This hands-on leadership position shapes high-impact campaigns.

Qualifications

• Experience building solid relationships with internal/external partners.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to solve problems with keen instincts.
• Experience working on Non-Union productions.
• Deep knowledge of the SAG-AFTRA Commercials Contract.

Responsibilities

• Deck Reviews, callouts, advise on next steps.
• Risk assessment on content.
• Bid Review with Producers.
• Contract management across Production, Animation, Photographer, VFX, Edit, and Location Releases.
• Third party trademark/IP clearances (e.g. tattoos, jewelry, clothing).
• Collaborate with legal.
• Coordinate with client’s cost controllers and agency partners.
• Track music costs.
• Manage insurance processes and claims.
• Handle general claims (third party, music, etc.).
• Network clearance depending on client.
• AD-Id management.
• Oversee regular talent (non-celebrities).
• Estimate and negotiate SAG-AFTRA and non-union talent contracts and payments.
• Coordinate with Producers on estimates.
• Review rough cuts for risk/clearance.
• Track and file all payments excluding long-form talent.
• Submit Purchase Orders and Invoices; track payments with Finance.
• Ensure vendors are paid on time with Account Management & Finance.
• File paperwork in job jackets.
• Close jobs with Producers & Finance.
• Mentor/oversee other business affairs managers when appropriate.
