Job summary

Translation is seeking a Senior Business Affairs Manager in New York to oversee contracts, risk, and clearances for multi-platform productions. You will collaborate with legal, producers and clients to ensure compliant deals, budgets, and timely payments for both union and non-union talent.

Strong SAG-AFTRA knowledge is essential. The role demands excellent communication, fast-paced decision making, and a track record of building solid relationships with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant creative agency/business affairs experience, with minimum 4+ years of direct SAG experience.
• Experience with SAG-AFTRA Commercials Contract.
• Ability to summarize and speak in layman's terms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review decks, callouts and advise on next steps.
• Conduct tagline research and risk assessments on content.
• Review bids with Producers and coordinate casting specs with Casting Company.
• Manage contracts across production elements and handle third-party clearances.
• Work with legal, finance and clients to track costs, invoices and payments.
