Devon Energy seeks a Senior Production Analyst/Accountant to manage complex production accounting tasks under general supervision, leveraging data analysis to support informed decision-making and regulatory compliance for operated production.

Responsibilities include monthly allocations reviews, process improvements, audit support, and ensuring timely reconciliations while collaborating with Operations and Field personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline is required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Production Accounting, Revenue Accounting or related field.
• Industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Applies understanding of production accounting to master data set-ups, allocations, reconciliations and reporting for company operated production.
• Conducts monthly review, adjustment and validation of allocations for accuracy.
• Identifies, diagnoses and recommends improvements to production accounting processes.
• Leverages data analysis to support decision-making and timely amendments.
• Responds to audit inquiries and maintains regulatory compliance.
• Recommends new control procedures to ensure adherence to regulations.
• Ensures timely reconciliations and participates in process optimization.
