Job summary

EOG Resources seeks an experienced Production Analyst to design and maintain gathering and allocation in the production accounting system, translating field operations into accurate volume calculations.

You will collaborate with facilities, production, and measurement teams to ensure timely reporting and compliant regulatory filings, while improving processes and data quality across departments.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years upstream production analyst, accounting, regulatory reporting experience.
• Solid understanding of production accounting, including allocation methods and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of complex production allocations, crude and condensate measurement and characteristics, natural gas liquids, and gas processing.
• Advanced computer skills in interactive databases, SQL and report writing.
• Aptitude for recognizing, recommending, and implementing process improvements.
• Self-motivated with leadership, team player, and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and translate field gathering operations into gathering system design within production accounting.
• Set up and maintain well and facility design for production and sales volume allocation.
• Interface with facilities, production, and measurement groups on field facility and measurement design.
• Collaborate with field personnel to ensure timely reporting and data transmission.
• Analyze and reconcile daily and monthly oil, gas, and water volumes used for reporting.
• Prepare and submit state and federal regulatory filings.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls and guidelines.
• Assist with integration of acquisitions/divestitures related to production data.
