Elbit America is seeking a Product Transition Technician in Roanoke, VA to bridge Product Development and Operations by conducting tests, designing fixtures, and building prototypes. You will troubleshoot, document processes, and collaborate across teams.

A strong emphasis on lean methods and data-driven improvement is required. The role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience, ability to obtain a security clearance, and proficiency in analytical thinking, problem solving, and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years related experience acceptable if associate is held.
• 5+ years hands-on technical experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to train others.
• Ability to perform process engineering tasks.
• Soldering certification or ability to certify.
• Compliance with OSHA, EPA, fire regulations and company policies.
• MS Office proficiency.
• CAD/Windchill/Cadence knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering tests and analyze data to support process development and optimization.
• Troubleshoot processes and equipment, identifying root causes of issues.
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure designs meet cost and manufacturability targets and to schedule use of production equipment.
• Participate in peer reviews and contribute insights on manufacturing capability, potential failure modes, process controls, and process qualification.
