Job summary
Torq Consulting seeks a Principal Consultant in Product Management to shape product strategy, drive execution, and deliver measurable outcomes for client engagements. You will collaborate with business leaders, design, research, data, and engineering teams, turning discovery into actionable roadmaps.
You will guide teams through prioritization, tradeoffs, and release planning, leveraging AI and modern practices to elevate product capabilities and client value.
Qualifications
- Ideally 7+ years in product management, consulting, or similar environments.
- Experience owning a product or substantial product workstream.
- Ability to translate customer problems into product decisions.
- Strong communication in fast-paced client environments.
- Experience defining roadmaps, backlogs, and releases.
- Familiarity with APIs, data flows, and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Own a product area or workstream based on client needs.
- Translate objectives into strategies, priorities, and roadmaps.
- Partner with research, design, analytics, engineering, and customer teams.
- Leverage AI and modern PM practices to improve delivery.
- Define capabilities, releases, and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate planning, alignment, and stakeholder sessions.
- Monitor product metrics tied to adoption and value.
- Support launches and post-launch measurement.
- Present progress and risks to client stakeholders.
- Contribute to proposals and sales discussions.
