Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Product Security Senior Manager to grow and shape its Product Security practice within the Commercial Team, defining direction, standards, and requirements for services and solutions sold to commercial customers.

You will lead security programs across client projects, drive secure development, mentor teams, and collaborate with market and sales to accelerate business outcomes while embedding secure-by-design practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading teams in Product Security.
• 5+ years in application/product development and implementing software security solutions.
• 3+ years securing embedded systems, physical products, or hardware.
• 1+ years using reverse engineering tools (Ghidra/IDA Pro).
• Experience across SDLC including vulnerability management and modern dev tools/frameworks.
• Experience with code scanning tools and CI/CD pipelines in production environments.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and prevention techniques.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead security program implementation, testing, hardening, and maturation across client projects.
• Conduct interviews with business/tech leaders; develop strategies, test, advise on hardening, present findings.
• Educate and influence client software/product teams on cybersecurity best practices.
• Help clients establish KPIs and KRIs relevant to product cybersecurity goals.
• Design, implement, and support secure-by-design practices across the product life cycle.
• Hire, lead, and mentor Product Security Engineers/Architects; perform security posture assessments.
