Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Enterprise Security Architect (Lead) to design and implement security solutions for complex networks, data paths, and cloud control planes. You will translate risk concepts into practical deployments and guide engineering teams.

You will collaborate with cybersecurity SMEs, cloud owners, and business stakeholders to build roadmaps, assess current-state environments, and close architectural gaps to advance security maturity across client environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
• 3+ years of experience in security architecture or security design.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale secure cloud or hybrid architectures, and creating architecture documents (diagrams, models, SSPs, data flows).
• Experience with network security appliances (e.g., F5 or Palo Alto).
• Experience with data security engineering (DLP, encryption at rest/in transit, tokenization).
• Experience with security technologies (HSMs, SASE, cloud security platforms).
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures, NIST SP 800-53/800-207, and secure engineering principles.
• Knowledge of enterprise information security architecture and network security.
• Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design security solutions for clients with complex network, platform, and data protection needs.
• Advise on security technologies and translate security designs into practical architectures for deployment.
• Partner with engineering teams, cybersecurity SMEs, cloud or platform owners, and business stakeholders to build roadmaps and improve security maturity.
