Job summary

Zebra is seeking an Advanced Product Security Engineer for the ADC unit. You will align security strategies with product development, embedding secure-by-design principles across hardware, software, and cloud integrations while mentoring teams and responding to security inquiries.

You will collaborate with multiple engineering teams, conduct threat modeling, and drive security tooling in CI/CD. This role requires onsite presence in Holtsville, NY (hybrid: 3 days in the office).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience in product security, embedded systems security, or a closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize security requirements for new and existing products.
• Conduct threat modeling and secure design reviews for hardware and software.
• Implement and enforce SSDLC security controls and best practices.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to integrate security without compromising time-to-market.
• Lead remediation of security vulnerabilities and respond to incidents as needed.
• Oversee security assessments including penetration testing and code reviews.
• Serve as primary contact for customer security inquiries and audits.
• Align with corporate security standards within product development.
