Job summary

Plaid Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer who will build production-grade security services and libraries to make the secure path the default for Plaid developers.

You will lead initiatives to automate vulnerability workflows and harden our security posture across services. You will own Plaid’s VM orchestration and collaborate with product teams to implement security controls, educate engineers, and contribute to incident response.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience building and scaling production services.
• Ability to architect and build software systems to meet security, privacy, usability, scalability and cost requirements.
• Experience with vulnerability management and security policy enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, design and develop security capabilities to manage vulnerabilities lifecycle.
• Own and maintain Plaid’s VM Orchestration service to reduce toil.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to build security controls.
• Develop internal tooling to automate vulnerability detection and remediation in CI/CD.
• Help educate other teams and participate in incident response.
