Job summary

Datavant is a data collaboration platform trusted for healthcare. The Sr Product Security Architect will shape the security posture across our portfolio, guiding risk mitigation and embedding security throughout the software development lifecycle.

You will partner with engineering leadership and compliance stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into practical controls, lead threat modeling, and drive strategic security initiatives to enable rapid, secure product delivery at scale.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing in multiple programming languages.
• Deep understanding of application and cloud security.
• Strong knowledge of security controls and practical risk mitigation.
• Experience with threat modeling and architectural reviews.
• Extensive experience with compliance standards (HIPAA, SOC 2, FedRAMP a plus).
• Familiarity with leveraging AI tooling to optimize workflows.
• Knowledge of AI platforms and Model Gateways.

Responsibilities

• Review projects our development teams build, including secure code reviews and architecture feedback.
• Own and conduct security/threat model reviews.
• Lead new security projects and drive cross‑team collaboration for success.
• Prioritize security requests and compliance controls during quarterly planning.
• Document security controls clearly to enable faster, clearer development.
