Job summary

Datadog is seeking a security architect for Bits Code, Datadog’s cloud coding agent. You’ll shape security architecture, write core libraries, and guide practices across engineering, product, infrastructure, and security teams.

You’ll own threat modeling for agent risks, work with sandbox teams on untrusted workloads, and be on call as part of a culture that builds and runs what you ship. This is a hybrid role in the US.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in CS/Engineering or 5+ years in product security or security architecture.
• Experience securing systems across complex trust boundaries.
• Experience building and operating full stack systems at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own the security architecture and implementation of Bits Code from design to production operation.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, infrastructure, and security to identify risks and shape the product.
• Build threat models for agent risks such as prompt injection.
• Help ship secure software fast by writing and maintaining core libraries and guiding processes.
• Work with sandbox teams on Bits Code execution of untrusted workloads.
• Be on call as part of a culture that builds and runs what you ship.
