Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Manager, Product Ownership to lead a team of Product Owners and drive product vision across Agile teams. You will define user stories, prioritize backlogs, and ensure business needs are met within budget and schedule.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in product ownership or a related Agile role.
Minimum 2 years of people leadership experience, including direct management of individual contributors.
Experience in healthcare, managed care, or a similar enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of up to eight Product Owners with goal setting and career growth.
Establish and reinforce product ownership best practices, backlog management, and value-based decision making.
Escalation point for prioritization, scope and tactical decisions within the team.
Participate in Agile and SAFe events such as PI Planning to ensure team effectiveness.
Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
Identify opportunities to improve team processes, tools, and delivery.
